Mobilization/Demobilization: Mobilization/removal of construction materials and construction equipment, payment of bonds and insurance, permits, preconstruction conference and photographic documentation, and other preparatory work limited to a maximum amount of five (5) percent of the Bid Price. 2. Construction of the 3 Water Pumping Improvements in the Pump Pit, including replacement of the existing (4) 3 Water pumps and associated pipe supports, piping, valves and appurtenances and pads, connections to existing systems, instruments, conduit and wiring, electrical and instrumentation, demolition of existing piping and appurtenances, and incidentals for a complete and usable facility as indicated on the Contract Documents. 3. Construction of the stormwater pump improvements in the Pump Pit, including demolition of 4 existing spent backwash pumps and associate pipe supports, installation of 4 new stormwater pumps, piping, pipe supports, valves and appurtenances and pads, connections to existing systems, instruments, conduit and wiring, electrical and instrumentation, potholing to confirm stormwater connections, and incidentals for a complete and usable facility as indicated on the Contract Documents. 5. All other work required to make the project whole and complete. The Work described requires that the Bidder be licensed by the State of California as a Class A Contractor.

The selected vendor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, tools and supervision to perform landscape maintenance as described herein including, but not limited to, the following: (a) Weed control and cultivation – both mechanically and/or with chemicals. (b) Fertilization (see Attachment A) (c) Shrub trimming, pruning and training. (d) Tree care as prescribed in technical specifications. (e) General pest control, including insects and diseases, as necessary to maintain a healthy environment for plant growth. This includes rodents, snails and slugs (f) General litter pick-up, refuse and debris removal from planters and landscape areas. (g) Hardscape cleaning: clean and remove graffiti from planters, controller boxes, and backflow devices. Proposers are to refer to the Technical Specifications section for median locations, site access, and other relevant routes of access.
